Letter from Secretary General

As President of the Debating Society, I warmly welcome you all to CSRMUN: The City School Rawal Model United Nations Chapter 2. Ever since I began my debating journey, it has been a dream of mine to conduct my own Model UN event, and sometimes, dreams do come true. The City School Rawal Campus was known in the twin cities for its events and bright students. However, things changed during the pandemic, and 2018 was the last we saw of an MUN at our campus: CSRMUN 3. Last year, I vowed to revive that legacy, becoming one of the youngest Secretary Generals for a Model UN conference in Pakistan, and with the help of my wonderful team, we pulled it off. The last edition began with flying colours, setting the stage for an unforgettable event, from the host team playing hide and seek with the chairs, the amazing DJ night featuring Urdu rap, the joint crisis cells, the Qawali Night, and finally, the closing ceremony and awards. This year, we aim to make it even bigger, with exciting plans in store. The City School Rawal has a proud history of hosting remarkable events over the years, including Rawalymics, Rise of Resilience (TCSROR), Reason and Rebuttle Junior, UN SDG's Summit, and Student Entrepreneurial Mania (SEM). I wholeheartedly hope that this occasion becomes a lasting memory of debate, competition, and fun for all of you.

Godspeed, and see you all there!

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious and Merciful,

- Anas Khursheed

”Dear Students, Faculty, and Guests,

I am happy to inform you that the CSRMUN 2024 is scheduled to take place on 31st Jan, 1st and 2nd Feb at the Rawal campus. Students can practice their leadership and public speaking abilities, participate in meaningful conversations about world concerns, and act out diplomatic negotiations at this esteemed event. CSRMUN is more than just an academic activity; it's a path of intellectual development and group problem-solving where students may investigate other viewpoints and gain a more profound comprehension of international affairs.

As we get ready to welcome delegates from other universities and institutions, I have no doubt that this event will promote collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. The discussions and arguments will push participants to embrace different points of view, think creatively, and communicate clearly. I encourage everyone to take full use of this experience since it is a chance to hone their abilities and create enduring networks and friendships.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to the student leaders, faculty mentors, and organizing committee for their tireless efforts in making this event a reality. I'm excited to see how our young delegates approach the conference with passion, zeal, and quality.

Best wishes to all for a successful and enriching CSRMUN!

- Ms Rozina Asif
